Which account location is best for you?
Barclays Wealth aims to offer you a choice of where you'd like to locate your account. You could base your banking in the heart of the international financial services industry by locating your account in London. Or you might choose to base your account in Gibraltar, which offers an attractive offshore account location.
Alternatively, you could choose to locate your account in the Isle of Man or Jersey, which are ideally placed to offer both local and offshore banking facilities due to their special status as British Crown dependencies.
Choosing the Isle of Man or London as your account location also means that your wealth is protected by the Depositors' Compensation Scheme.

How to apply
If you are not currently a Barclays Wealth International client, our minimum qualifying criteria is either:
- an annual gross income of £24,000 or more (or currency equivalent) deposited into a Barclays Wealth account; or:
- £5,000 or more (or currency equivalent) across the accounts you hold with us.
