As a socially responsible organisation, Barclays in Europe sees sponsorships across our geographic regions as a key part of being actively involved with the communities within which we operate.
We are very proud of each event, organisation and sport that we are involved with and see our involvement as much more than purely financial. During 2011 our focus across Europe is opportunities that support thought leadership, local communities and sporting opportunities.
Cabral Moncada
Cabral Moncada was founded in 1996 and is located in the centre of Lisbon. Specialising in antiques, works of art and contemporary and modern pieces it is one of the most respected auction houses in Portugal.
Barclays is the principal sponsor of the Cabral Moncada Auction House in 2011. The sponsorship is in conjunction with Barclays Portugal (GRCB), giving us the opportunity to give our clients exclusive previews and access to the nine collections for the year and the expertise of Cabral Moncada.
