Barclays Wealth appoints Amaury Hendrickx and Jad Fadl

Barclays Wealth, a leading global wealth manager, today announces the appointments of Amaury Hendrickx as Director, and Jad Fadl as Vice President in the Strategic Solutions Group (SSG). Based in London, Amaury and Jad will report to Solomon Soquar who joined Barclays Wealth as Head of SSG in February 2011.

The SSG is one of the core pillars of the firm's ultra-high net worth (UHNW) proposition and these appointments are a significant step in its build-out. The SSG provides strategic solutions to UHNW clients by leveraging the capabilities of Barclays Capital and Barclays Corporate.

Amaury joins from Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity where he was a Director of Global Private Equity. Prior to this he worked at Deutsche Bank and Alpinvest Partners. At Barclays Wealth Amaury will focus on the Investment Club proposition of SSG, which provides clients with strategic unlisted equity investment opportunities, access to specialist funds, and bespoke co-investment opportunities. Deals are originated from Barclays Group, Barclays Wealth's UHNW clients and selected third parties.

Jad joins from Citi where he spent seven years across Corporate banking, IBD and the IBD-Private Bank partnership team. In his new role as Solutions Specialist, Jad will provide technical and specialist product knowledge and act as the interface between IBD/Corporate professionals and Barclays Wealth Bankers and clients.

To support the SSG global strategy, Barclays Wealth has also recently appointed Miray Katerji as Managing Director of SSG, Middle East North Africa. Based in Dubai, Miray will be working with MENA bankers with a focus on originating SSG mandates and transactions, and the distribution of Investment Club deals. Miray joins from HSBC Global Banking & Markets where she worked in both Wealth Management and Investment Banking.
