Theophanis Theophanous is appointed as a Managing Director and Ultra High Net Worth Banker

Barclays Wealth, a leading global wealth manager, today announces the appointment of Theophanis Theophanous as a Managing Director and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) Banker. Theophanis joins from Deloitte, where he has worked since 2001 and has since 2009 been a Partner and Head of Private Client Services in Cyprus. He will be based in London and will report to Stefanie Drews, Head of UHNW and Family Offices, UK & EMEA and Henry Fischel Bock, Head of the London office for the International Private Bank, EMEA.

This appointment is the latest of a number of recent additions to the UHNW team, including Solomon Soquar, who moved from Citi Private Bank to head the Strategic Solutions Group, through which UHNW clients can access products and services offered by Barclays Capital and Barclays Corporate.
