Stephen Head hired as Managing Director and Regional Manager for Texas

Barclays Wealth, one of the leading global wealth management firms, is pleased to announce it has hired Stephen Head as Managing Director and Regional Manager for Texas.

Based in Dallas, Mr. Head will be responsible for managing the Dallas and Houston offices, as well as growing the regional business. Mr. Head reports to Steve Houston, who as Head of Wealth Management oversees the firm's Investment Representative network in the Americas.

Mr. Head brings four decades of experience in financial services to his new role. He joins from Carlson Capital in Dallas, where he was Head of U.S. Client Development for the past year. Previously, Mr. Head served as Dallas Regional Manager, Equities Division, at UBS, where he worked for 15 years in a variety of senior roles including Chicago Regional Manager and West Coast Supervising Manager.  Prior to UBS, Mr. Head served in Equity Sales at First Boston and Smith Barney for more than two decades. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
