Barclays Wealth continues build out in the Americas with five Investment Representative hires

Barclays Wealth announces five new hires in Philadelphia, Chicago and Atlanta

Barclays Wealth, a leading global wealth manager by assets under management, is pleased to announce the addition of five Investment Representatives in its Philadelphia, Chicago and Atlanta offices.

Philadelphia
Rosalie Hunter joins Barclays Wealth as a Managing Director from J.P. Morgan, bringing over 25 years of wealth management experience. Ms. Hunter had worked at J.P. Morgan since 2002 advising ultra high net worth individuals, multi-generational families and corporate executives as clients of the Private Bank. Previously, Ms. Hunter spent 10 years in wealth management at Credit Suisse and its predecessor company Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. She holds an M.B.A. from LaSalle University and a B.A. from Ohio Wesleyan University. Ms. Hunter serves on the Board of Trustees at Springside School and Chestnut Hill Academy, Philadelphia.

Bill McCormack also joins Barclays Wealth from J.P. Morgan, with over 14 years of wealth management and financial services experience. His most recent role at J.P. Morgan was Senior Investor and Market Team Leader for the Private Bank's Mid-Atlantic Region. Previously, he served as Director of Institutional Sales and Client Service for Gardner Lewis Asset Management. Mr. McCormack holds an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia, an M.A. from Georgetown University and a B.A. from Princeton University.

Ms. Hunter and Mr. McCormack report to Scott Sheffer, Regional Manager for Philadelphia.

Chicago
Brian Maddox joins Barclays Wealth as a Managing Director from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, bringing 29 years of wealth management experience to the firm. Mr. Maddox started his wealth management career at Merrill Lynch in 1982 and joined Morgan Stanley Smith Barney (then Smith Barney) in 1986 where he gained extensive experience advising high net worth clients, foundations, family offices as well as pension funds, investment advisors, closed end funds and mutual funds. Mr. Maddox holds a B.A. from Drake University. He serves on the GALApalooza Committee for the Parkways Foundation in Chicago.

Michael Schafer joins Barclays Wealth from Goldman Sachs bringing over nine years of financial services experience to this new role. Mr. Schafer joined Goldman Sachs in 2002 and he specialized in advising clients on money market and short duration fixed income investments. Mr. Schafer holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University and a B.S. from the University of Illinois.

Mr. Maddox and Mr. Schafer both report to Chris Williams, Regional Manager for Chicago.

Atlanta
Jonathan Pakula joins Barclays Wealth from UBS, bringing over two decades of wealth management experience. Mr. Pakula joined UBS in 2000 as part of its acquisition of Paine Webber. Mr. Pakula holds a B.A. from Washington & Lee University. He reports to Atlanta Regional Manager Linda Eydt.
